Interested in learning how therapeutic yoga can help with chronic pain? Marlysa Sullivan brings you over 15 years of combined experience as a physical therapist and yoga therapist to share the science behind chronic pain and how yoga practice and philosophy can support healing at Omega Institute.

Marlysa Sullivan

With a deep understanding of the evidence-based benefits of yoga and ancient philosophy/teachings of the practice, she offers a unique holistic approach to help make yoga accessible on multiple levels. Marlysa teaches anatomy, kinesiology, yoga therapy and meditation in a number of settings from clinical offices, yoga studios to university programs including Emory University. She also teaches in the Masters of Science in Yoga Therapy at Maryland University of Integrative Health where she established many of the courses and the yoga therapy clinic.

The weekend training is for anyone interested in learning yoga to help heal and to work with pain. The weeklong training is for yoga teachers, therapists and health-care practitioners who wish to learn how yoga can help their clients who struggle with chronic pain.
