The Must-Read Book Club

Hedy Iankelevich: Last year, I was tending to a broken heart and took off to Tulum, Mexico, for a week with a my dear friend, Christina, who also happens to be a life coach. I had my own book, but her book pulled me in. I took it from her and couldn't put it down! Its a good thing she had another one because I wasn't letting this one go!

YogaCity NYC: Describe it in 5 words.

HI: Wise, light, relatable, humorous, clear.

YCNYC: Favorite quote?

HI: "Do it badly. Do it slowly. Do it fearfully. Do it any way you have to, but do it."

YCNYC: Who would you recommend this book to?

HI: This book clearly shows the difference between being an owner of your life and being a victim of it. It gives tools to transform and empower yourself. Honestly, everyone should read it!

YCNYC: What moment or part resonates with you the most?

HI: Six months after Mexico, Christina told me that Chandler was hosting a workshop in Arizona on Reinventing Yourself and asked if I would come. I didn't hesitate! It was mostly life coaches, but it didn't matter—I learned so much about myself that weekend. So, the whole book resonated with me, and I flew across the country to learn more, for goodness sake!
