Yogamaya

Yogamaya Yoga Studio is a leader in successfully merging on-point, precise and poetic alignment with relevant, textured and substantial yoga philosophy into engaging and dynamic Vinyasa flow classes. In all of our Training programs, we teach you how to teach and sequence classes with great intelligence and how to be yourself, relevant, and modern in your teaching approach. We focus on pure and classical alignment and philosophy as the foundation.

Yogamaya is a Registered Yoga School with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 and 300 hour levels. We have basic trainings for yogis starting out on their teaching path or just looking to deepen their knowledge of yoga as well as advanced modules for experienced teachers who are ready to increase their confidence and presence in the classroom with more detailed and deeper studies in specific areas.

Stacey Brass and Bryn Chrisman have been teaching teacher trainings together since 2006 and bring to their programs years of study of Vinyasa Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, and Bhakti Yoga. The core focus of our training is based on the 1st Sutra of the 2nd chapter of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras: “Tapas, Svadhyaya, & Ishvara Pranidhana”. In English: Discipline, Study, and Devotion and Dedication.

Students are personally mentored throughout their study and beyond. We are here to guide and support you in all ways through the process of self-discovery to uncovering the courage to teach. All of our trainings are rich experiences that will stay with you throughout your entire life.
