Post-Practice Hemp Chai

A month has flown by since we rang in the New Year and I am certain everyone is still on track with fitness goals. If you happen to be someone who already slipped off that wagon, do not fret. You can jump back on anytime.

One of the biggest motivators can be fantasizing about how amazing that post workout nutrition fuel can taste. Are you ready for a sweet, creamy, and spicy nutrition drink that can be made right at home? This Hemp Chai Nutrition Drink will fill you with protein and anti-inflammatory goodness. To reap the benefits, post workout fuel should be consumed within 30 minutes after exercise is over.

Hemp Chai Nutrition Drink

What you need:

  • A blender or magic bullet

  • About 8-10oz of water

  • Half a banana (I prefer mine frozen)

  • 4 Tbsp plain hemp protein powder

  • 1 tsp maca root powder

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp ground turmeric

  • ¼ tsp ground ginger

*The hemp protein I recommend is Manitoba Harvest Pro 70 because it contains a high amount of protein. However, any hemp protein will work fine. Just be sure it is plain and not flavored with vanilla or any sweeteners. Hemp should be the only ingredient.

What you do:

  • Blend all ingredients together until smooth.

  • Lick your lips and enjoy!
